Hunting with beagles on foot in the English fashion is a revelation. The illustrious Nantucket-Treweryn Beagles keep those rabbits busy, and the Wolver Beagles

The Ashland Bassets, Virginia's oldest basset hound pack, is a never-failing delight, with its experienced staff and its musical hounds. All essays have been moved to the new site.
There are many fine fox hunts in Virginia. I have the honor of following the Blue Ridge Hunt, covering the same ground as Lord Fairfax and George Washington in the unspoiled Shenandoah Valley. All essays have been moved to the new site.
